Javier Coy Celis (born 17 July 1985), is a Colombian artist, record producer, songwriter, musician and engineer from Bogotá. He first received recognition in 2011 from the ISC (international Songwriting competition) generating two nominations with the song "Deja lo Malo Afuera” and an honorable mention in the Latin category of that year, where the juries were: Kelly Clarkson, Tom Waits, Jeff Beck, Ozzy Osbourne and Janelle Monae.
In 2012, Coy received a music award nomination at the “premios Shock de la Música” for “Best Pop Band”. With his band SAUTI. His second band studio album ”5 flores” were released in 2013 supported by the Government of the city of Buenos Aires, generating a tour of more than 40 shows in several cities of Chile, Uruguay, Colombia and Argentina.
In 2015 he worked in advertising music for Argentine campaigns like: Clight, TV programs “como anillo al dedo" and music composition for the Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires, for the play "La Menesunda" by Marta Minujin.
Coy's latest releases are related with many international artists around the world and differing genres like pop, latin, rock, Electronic music and experimental music technologies, enjoying more than 10 years of active participation in the music industry.
He is currently working on his new duo project “The Positive Force Team” with his band partner Maryella Marie. They will be releasing their new album, and music experience on April 22, 2018.
